TechKNOW Associates partners with elementary, middle, and high schools to provide quality professional development services, including onsite mentoring, Project-Based Learning (PBL) curriculum and integration planning, funding and grants assistance, webinars and online support.
TechKNOW Associates and Collaborize Classroom offer a variety of blended professional development programs developed to meet the needs of your school. Our goal is to support teachers in developing the skills to integrate a blended learning model leveraging the power of technology to create student-centered classrooms. Our PD programs, which have been proven to be effective in classrooms nationwide, are aligned to Common Core Standards and can be customized to meet specific goals and objectives of your school.

L.E.A.P. (Learn Everything about Project Based Learning)
LEAP workshops offer teachers an opportunity to develop and participate in an inquiry and Project Based Learning (PBL) experience. Teachers will work cooperatively on an Essential Question aligned with key Common Core Standards and learn how PBL supports student-center learning while giving all students equal opportunities to learn. With the integration of Collaborize Classroom, teachers are shown how they can increase participation, improve discussions, and engage students in classroom and private online discussion. All participating teachers will acquire individual action plans for PBL and Collaborative Classroom implementation in their classroom.

Multi-Day Workshop: (minimum 2 consecutive) $1700/day*

Compendium 21 (Fully Customized, Job-Embedded PD infusing PBL and Technology)
Compendium 21 offers fully customized, job embedded professional development. The unique mentor-modeling methodology brings TKA staff developers into the classroom to work with teachers and students integrating Collaborize Classroom and PBL creating a blended PD learning environment.
Collaborize Classroom is designed to complement classroom instruction and engage students in online activities, assignments and discussions fostering increased participation inside and outside of the classroom. With the Collaborize Classroom as the key component, customized inquiry and project based, multidisciplinary lessons are developed to fit the needs of the curriculum and address Common Core standards. Compendium 21 builds teacher confidence and skill with successful and engaging technology and higher order thinking activities based on your curriculum
