Next week the Rockstar Summer Teacher Tech Camp will be taking over Minarets High School in O’Neils, Ca. The conference will be three days of fun sessions, networking with teachers and learning about educational technology tools. This camp is about changing education through technology and building an ever expanding group of tech-oriented educators. It is built for teachers to socialize in the context of connecting these inspired educators from throughout California.
This year will be the Super Hero Edition of the unconference and attending teachers will be pulling their capes and tights out of their dressers and showcasing their super hero identities.
Educators Alice Keeler & Gini Pierce Cummings will be speaking on the third day of the event about Collaborize Classroom. Their session:
COLLABORIZE CLASSROOM: Take your classroom from being the sage on the stage to allowing students to drive the discussions. Collaborize Classroom, once a mild-mannered program until it fell into a vat of toxic sludge, is now designed to transform boring classroom instruction into engaging online activities, assignments and discussions that allow for deeper participation inside and outside the classroom. Want to know what your students are really thinking? You don’t need telepathy. You need Collaborize Classroom!
There are a few tickets left, so make sure to purchase your Rock Star Summer Teacher Tech Camp tickets right away!
