While May has been all about finals, prom and graduations for teachers and technology coordinators, it has been all about ISTE planning for the Collaborize Classroom team.
We will be having a booth (#2361) during trade show hours, sponsoring EduBloggerCon on Saturday, co-hosting the Edtech Karaoke Tweetup on Tuesday, and speaking 3 separate occasions… As well as hanging out in the bloggers lounge and conference. Find out more on our Collaborize Classroom @ ISTE blog!
Collaborize Classroom recently won the Outstanding Achievement Award in Education from the Interactive Media Council, scoring in the top 14 of approximately 140 submissions.

Students and teachers can create discussions, comment or vote on ideas and in polls, and also access resources for the classroom. Teachers can also use the site to see the participation of the students and keep track of their involvement with the course, topic, or individual discussion/assignment.
Collaborize Classroom was featured as a “Shining Star” on the Tech Talk America Radio Show.
The Shining Star: Our favorite by far is Collaborize Classroom. The site is useful for companies, organizations, and classrooms alike. The concept is shockingly simple. You have a bunch of people you want to communicate with whether its planning your brands next steps or finding out what your students thought of Dante’s journey through the circles of Hell. Collaborize gives you the tools to engage all of them… easily. It’s very hard to describe everything the service can offer, but if you’re a teacher, run a business, or work in a non-profit, we very strongly recommend you look into Collaborize Classroom.
The folks at SimpleK12 wrote another blog post featuring Collaborize Classroom and our free pdf’s and lesson plans to help get teachers started introducing blended learning into their classrooms.
We also ramped up our Professional Development course catalog, helping teachers learn more about blended learning and online discussions through hands on webinars and in-person classes on educational technology.
