Only a few more weeks until Northern California’s first Edcamp comes to town.
Edcamp SF Bay is an unconference – a free, democratic, participant-driven day of professional development for teachers which will be held on August 20, 2011 at Skyline High School in Oakland, CA. Educators will be able to come together to share ideas and network with their peers.
The “UN” part of an unconference is the beauty of these types of events. There are no pre-set sessions, so it is up to the community to collaborate and create their own conference with information and ideas that educators are actually interested in.
Collaborize Classroom is one of a few EdTech companies who will be sponsoring this event on August 20th in Oakland. Please make sure to join us, network with other educators in the Bay Area and enjoy a day of professional development about subjects you actually want to learn about.
